Technical Services Representative

Job Details

Job Summary:

The Technical Services Representative is the on-going point of contact for all customer related questions, vehicle repairs, and recommended vehicle services.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Diagnose vehicle concerns in the field via phone / e-mail correspondence and provide repair solutions
  • Coordinate offsite vehicle repairs
  • Process subcontractor Repair Orders and submit to Accounts for payment
  • Maintain the Vehicle History Database
  • Generate monthly Customer Contact Reports and submit to Senior Management
  • Primary Point of Contact for vehicle-related warranty and maintenance concerns
  • Conduct customer training, facility tours and new vehicle orientation during the inspection and acceptance phases of procurement
  • Primary Point of Contact for all Technical Support and Customer Relations aspects of Lenco vehicles after sale
  • Create and maintain Vehicle Operations Manuals
  • Support the research of products and equipment for custom installations, as required
  • Assist with the design and layout of vehicle graphics
  • Assist Sales and Engineering Department with customer prebuild conferences and product integration, as required
  • Conduct out-of-service maintenance checks on vehicles, as required
  • Provide Technician Training for companies servicing Lenco products in the field.
  • Compile Maintenance Schedules and Spare Parts Lists for potential future procurements
  • Interface with current customer base regarding customer supplied and Lenco supplied parts and accessories to be installed and/or integrated into vehicles
  • Evaluate data for trends and alert Engineering as needed. Assist with potential repair solutions
  • Create Sales Orders to facilitate warranty parts shipments
  • Coordinate with vendors to facilitate vendor warranty parts replacement pertaining to specific vehicle options

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline

Automotive Electrician

Job Details

Job Summary:

The Electrical Technician is responsible to carry out routine 12-volt vehicle electrical work including preparation and the fitting of the electronics equipment as defined by standards and work orders.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Run electrical wiring using in-house built and prebuilt wiring harnesses.
  • Integrate and install OEM wiring harnesses in Bearcat.
  • Prep and install component assemblies such as switch panels, fuse boards, and relay panels.
  • Install exterior electronics such as thermal cameras, 360 camera systems, sirens etc.
  • Install interior electronics such as lights, monitors, radios etc.

Plasma Operator

Job Details

Job Summary:

The Plasma Operator is responsible for the setup, operation and tending of the (CNC) Plasma Table and supporting equipment. He/she produces parts created using the plasma table while maintaining quality and safety standards.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Receive processing direction and nesting table from Engineering and Supervisor
  • Set up and operate plasma table to cut parts used in the creation of vehicles
  • Identify and verify proper gauge and type of steel to be cut
  • Load table by lifting steel into position using crane and various other lifting devices
  • Maintain specifications by observing plasma table cutting, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls
  • Replace worn consumables adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
  • Examine cuts visually or by hand to verify quality and accuracy
  • Grind edges of material using a pneumatic grinder
  • Monitor instruments such as pressure gauges, indicators or meters to ensure optimum processing conditions
  • Maintain continuity by communicating and documenting actions, irregularities and ongoing need

Job Details

Job Summary:

The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for performing a variety of welding involving fabrication, alteration, and repairs of metal parts.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Weld and fabricate metal components per drawing/prints and work orders
  • Layout fits and welds components for assembly based on pre-designed specifications
  • Grind off excess weld, slag or splatter, using hand scraper, power chipper or portable grinder, and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion
  • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions
  • Responsible for sound welds and accuracy of assembly
  • Observe and identify any fault in equipment, material and assembly process, then notifying supervisors
  • Control the processes of fitting burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating and/or distortion of the parts
  • Clamping, holding, tack welding, heat bending, bolting, or grinding parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements
  • Requisition parts and equipment as necessary

Job Summary:

The Build Preparation Employee is responsible for the blueprint reading and proper assembly of parts used during the Building Phase.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Basic welding skills and knowledge
  • Reading blueprints and drawings for design layouts.

Create and maintain a quality assurance program for in process inspection of armored vehicles and components. Carry out inspections of electrical, mechanical components and assemblies during the build process.

  • Weld and fabricate per drawings, prints and work orders

The Technical Services Representative is the on-going point of contact for all customer related questions, vehicle repairs, and recommended vehicle services.
