JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented IT Help Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations within the organization. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.



  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or external vendors as necessary.
  • Assist users with software installations, configurations, and updates.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions to technical problems.
  • Educate users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform routine maintenance on IT systems, including software updates and patches.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT support requests and resolutions.
  • Document procedures, solutions, and user guides for common issues.
  • Update and manage the knowledge base for IT support.
  • Assist with data migration requirements as necessary.
  • Assist with implementing and enforcing IT security policies.
  • Respond to security incidents and breaches and assist in recovery efforts.
  • Conduct regular security checks and audits.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless IT operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

  • Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
  • Familiarity with network systems, printers, and other peripheral devices.



  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.



  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus



  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common software applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while maintaining scheduled deadlines.

  • Must be able to pass physical exam
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, squatting, and kneeling
  • Vision a minimum 20/40 with or without corrective lenses
  • Good hearing
