Pay: $90,000 – $110,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time | Engineering | First Shift (7am – 3:30pm)

Job Summary:
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for continuous improvement initiatives across metal fabrication, vehicle assembly, and finishing. This hands-on, shop-floor-focused role is responsible for identifying inefficiencies, eliminating waste, and supporting a team of engineers in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and execute continuous improvement projects across fabrication, paint, and assembly
  • Apply Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 6S) to drive measurable improvements
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Provide technical support for fabrication (laser cutting, welding, material handling)
  • Lead, mentor, and support a small team of engineers and specialists
  • Track and report improvements in cycle time, throughput, and labor efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience (5+ years in a relevant hands-on role)
  • Strong background in metal fabrication, CNC Laser, welding, and assembly
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software; experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor multidisciplinary teams
  • S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
