Pay: $24.00 – $37.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time | Overtime Available

Schedule: Second Shift / Evening Shift / PM Shift (3:30pm – 12am)

Job Summary:
The Second Shift Laser Operator is responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machine to produce high-precision steel and armor plate components. Ideal candidates have experience with CNC operation and take pride in maintaining high tolerances.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate Trumpf CNC laser cutting equipment to cut armor plate according to specifications
• Load and unload heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts
• Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure high-tolerance accuracy
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Verify material thickness and grade before beginning the cutting process
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Experience with Trump CNC equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail
• Experience with material handling equipment (overhead cranes/forklifts)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
